Just a brief update to let you all know that Mummy Panic 1.02 is in the App Store, so if you haven't updated yet you'll want to!
This update is mainly a bug fix update, so if you've been experiencing any crashes, you'll want to grab it.
For the next update, I'm busy working on:
- One new tile set, for "Overgrown" looking rooms
- 40 new levels, 20 easy, and 20 hard, for a grand total of 100 levels!
- Many many improvements to the game, among others a speed up button, faster mummies, a hint button, sound level changes, and more
- After many requests, music for levels!
- Facebook Connect!
This should be off to Apple by the end of the week, and then another week or so for approval. Really looking forward to seeing what you all think about the new content :)
Mummy Panic is finally accepted into the app store, and I've got to say I'm super excited about hearing what people think. I'm already busy cooking up high res support for the new Iphone4, as well as some new levels for the game. One question for those who have got the game already, would you like more tricky levels to test your skills, or a little bit easier ones just to mess around with without having to think too much? Both have a place, but I'd like to focus on adding what people want!
I'm glad to announce that Mummy Panic has finally been submitted to the app store. We're awaiting confirmation from Apple, and then the game is on. It's been an exciting ride for everyone involved, and we hope people will love the game as much as we enjoyed making it!
Of course, work doesn't stop here. I'm already busy working on new levels and multiplayer, and John has been tweaking the animations and adding new sub animations.
